Beitbart.com reports today that a dog, Marine which was trained by a Japanese centre for sniffing cancer cells in humans is being cloned in South Korea. It is reported that two clones will be made, one will remain in south korea and the other will be taken to japan for studies. The owner of the dog Yuji Satoh also confirmed the cloning. The experts from Seoul National University have taken the skin samples from Marine for the Project.
Researchers believe that cancer cells emit a scent not present in other healthy cells and it can be picked up by dogs in urine samples. If the project succeeds, they plan to clone more dogs.
I wish this project succeeds and helps us in fighting the deadly disease of cancer.
I wish all luck to the researchers in making the project a big success.
